This website is built with privacy in mind. We track nothing personal, set no marketing cookies, and sell no data.
Short version: On internshipabroad.uk we store no personal data about you as long as you do not actively submit something. Fully GDPR compliant.
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that works without cookies and without storing your IP address. We see anonymised aggregates (for example, how many people from the UK visited the site on a given day), never identifiable individual data.
Once you create a profile on app.internshipabroad.me, separate privacy terms apply there, which you explicitly agree to when signing up. The platform stores only the data needed to match you with a placement (name, email, academic background, preferences).
This separation is intentional: as long as you are just browsing, everything stays anonymous. Only when you actively create a profile do you share data with us, and you decide what we may do with it.
Even though we store no personal data on this website: if you have an account on the platform, you have the following rights:
Requests at any time to: info@internshipabroad.uk
This website is hosted on Vercel with server location within the EU (Frankfurt). Server logs (IP address, timestamp, browser) are retained for a maximum of 7 days for security purposes and then deleted.
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. When the page loads, Google sees your IP address. We have no further influence over this. If this is a concern, you can block Google Fonts via a browser extension.
The controller for the purposes of UK GDPR is:
